INTERNATIONAL VIOLIN METHOD presents

We believe that great musicianship is not created by technique alone. It is shaped by the mind, enriched by culture, strengthened through experience, and ultimately expressed through one's own unique voice.

International Violin Method is an educational philosophy for violinists, rooted in the fundamental techniques of David Oistrakh and enriched by the diverse musical knowledge and experiences that Keiko Yanagita has acquired throughout her own artistic journey.

Our philosophy is to cultivate musicianship that emerges from within each individual. We believe that this can be achieved through mental discipline, intellectual growth, a rich inner life, the study of different cultures, performing on a variety of stages, and placing oneself in unique and inspiring environments.

Rather than simply developing technical skills, we encourage each violinist to discover and nurture their own distinctive musical voice and individuality.

The members of International Violin Method are primarily students and graduates of Keiko Yanagita’s violin studio.

Based at Toyosu Civic Center Hall in Toyosu, Tokyo, overlooking Tokyo Bay, International Violin Method continues to expand its activities through performances, education, cultural exchange, and international projects.
